Date Range Queries

A lot of useful voice questions depend on time.

You might ask about:

  • spending this month
  • fuel costs last 30 days
  • trips taken this year
  • food spending between June and August

The assistant is designed to understand many of these natural date phrases automatically.

If you are new to voice features, start with Voice Overview.

The assistant can usually understand phrases like:

  • this week
  • this month
  • last month
  • this year
  • last year
  • past 30 days
  • last 6 months
  • between January and March
  • in 2024

A rolling range moves with time.

For example:

  • last 30 days
  • past 90 days
  • last 6 months

These are especially useful when you want a moving picture of spending and travel patterns rather than a fixed calendar month.

They let you ask natural questions instead of building filters by hand.

Examples:

  • “How much did I spend on fuel last month?”
  • “Show campsite spending this year.”
  • “How much did I spend in Spain over the last 90 days?”

If you want to refine the result afterwards, see Follow Up Questions.
